Great Appetizer or Meal: Taco Ring

Christmas Recipe: Bing Bars (Cherry Fudge)

Bing Bars or Cherry fudge as some call it are my favorite Christmas time treat.
To start you will need:
2 cups sugar
2/3 cups evaporated skim milk

Easiest Lemon Meringue Pie, EVAH!

Making Meringue has always scared me, so I avoided it. Like the plague. Well, Wednesday, I thought I’d try out the plague making some meringue.  Much easier than I thought.
I totally cheated on everything else though.  I used a pre-made pie crust (cooked it for 10 minutes first), then added canned lemon filling (Wilderness) and cooked at [...]

What does one do…

….when one has thoroughly cleaned her kitchen top to bottom, inside & out?  Go on a baking spree the very next day of course!  What did I make?
First I had to decide whether to bread or muffin, I chose bread.
Then I got all lazy again.
And finally I felt like a complete tart.
So for tomorrow?  I [...]

BOO! Surprise Cupcakes.

Surprise cupcakes.  You know the kind.  The “surprise” kind you get to make when your child comes home and says he needs cupcakes for the party at school the next day.
My husband said he would make them (God Bless that man), I think it is his feeble attempt to keep bronchitis out of the school [...]
